Identity is the content.
Objects are named by their BLAKE3 hash. Change the content and you get a new identity, not a silent replacement.
Content-addressed computation
A runtime
that remembers.
Pure computation. Explicit effects.
A history you can return to.
Most systems tell you what exists now. Cairn connects an output to the inputs, code and authorized effects that produced it.
Write small, pure WebAssembly functions. Wire them into a dataflow graph. Let the runtime own the carefully bounded steps that touch the world.

Pure nodes have no ambient I/O. Platform-controlled capabilities mediate storage, queries and external operations.
Signed provenance and movable references connect execution to audit. External effects require compensation, not erasure.
A small flow. An inspectable result.
The same input can take a shorter path.
Run it again to see a cache hit. Change the input to create a new coordinate. Nothing here is sent to a server or stored after you leave.
Prepare a local buildApp authors compose pure transforms. Cairn owns the effectful primitives.
WebAssembly functions transform their inputs. No granted capability means no ambient path to storage or the network.
Effects are authorized and recorded through runtime-controlled modules. Budgets and explicit capabilities bound the work.
Content hashes, signed records and provenance make results inspectable. Roll back references; compensate irreversible effects.
Cairn is experimental software. Source availability is not a production-readiness, security certification or provider-activation claim.
Build the CLI, run a pure WebAssembly DAG, then repeat it and inspect the cache. No account, provider key or public server is needed.
The runtime and Perffection repositories are private while their public release is prepared. This website’s source is available now; the CLI commands are for the upcoming source release.

target/debug/cairn-chirho --versionPerffection builds its product guests, documents and interface on Cairn. The engine stays generic; the product lives in its own repository. Its public source release is being prepared alongside Cairn.
Cairn takes its name from memorial stones: a visible reminder of what happened, and why it matters.
Our deepest hope is not in software. God loves us; we have sinned and need His forgiveness. Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose again. Salvation is His gift, received by grace through faith, not earned by our work. Turn to Him and trust Him.
